First, you’ll visit the Eiffel Tower, taking the elevator to the summit for a bird’s-eye view of Paris and learning all about its creator, Gustave Eiffel. On the second level, you’ll walk the perimeter as your guide points out the city’s many landmarks.
Next, relax on a 30-minute boat cruise to the medieval heart of Paris, Île de la Cité, home to the Notre Dame cathedral. Later, we’ll walk along the banks of the Seine, admiring the “bouquinistes,” or booksellers, a tradition that dates back to the 16th century.
See and learn about places like the Palace of Justice, Conciergerie, and Sainte-Chapelle as we walk by them. Cross the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris. And finally, arrive at the Louvre Pyramid, located at the foot of the Axe Historique (Historic Axis) of Paris. Feel free to continue on to enjoy the nearby Tuileries Garden, Champs-Élysées, or the museum. Your guide is happy to share insider tips on what to do next.
