Where to meet your guide
Our meeting point is the statue of Louis XIV on horseback in front of the Louvre Pyramid entrance. The nearest address is 10 Place du Carrousel. The closest Metro station is Palais Royal Musee du Louvre on Line 1 and 7. It’s about a five-minute walk to the meeting point from the Metro.
There is about 1 mile of walking at a very leisurely pace. Elevators and escalators are periodically being repaired and may be closed for service and therefore can be unpredictable. If mobility is an issue, please indicate this when booking.
Yes, there are lockers available for rent inside the Louvre. Your host can help you find them.
Photos are allowed inside the museum. However, many pieces, including the Mona Lisa, have strict regulations which prohibit the use of flash photography.
