Paul was our guide and we just loved him! He was very knowledgeable and a great guide as well as great company. We would do it again tomorrow if we weren’t leaving. Griffith Park is a can’t-miss if you are visiting LA!

Beautiful day, amazing tour!
This is absolutely a must-do if you want to go to the Griffith Park Observatory and see the Hollywood sign. We met our guide, Lisa, at a small market/cafe at the base of the hill. She took us through a winding neighborhood and then up the hill to the Observatory, and back down again. Lisa pointed out many interesting facts and sights that we would not have known or seen had we been by ourselves. She was very friendly and offered to take our pictures on many occasions. We were blessed with a beautiful day, weather-wise, and the city of Los Angeles was in full view. We decided not to visit the Observatory, as there were several school groups and it had just opened for the day. Lisa led us back down the hill and we parted back at the market/cafe. At no time did we feel rushed - this was a very relaxing tour. There are some stairs and hills, but Lisa stopped several times along the way, so it was not difficult at all. I will definitely check out the tour website and request Lisa for our next tour!

Fun activity for locals and visitors alike!
I grew up in the LA suburbs, but never spent much time in this part of town. I finally decided to get to know the area and was glad to be led by the incredibly friendly, considerate, and knowledgeable guide Chris! He made the experience one my friends and I will always remember.

I had a great time with my tour guide, Paul. He provided so much insight about the places we visited (Los Feliz, the Hollywood Sign and the observatory). And it was wonderful talking to him.

The hike is a must to experience a unique wilderness a few miles from the sprawling urban area. The view gets better and better while climbing up to the observatory. Great hike! Great tour guide! Great memories! Definitely worthy of a second round if coming to LA in the future.
