From Wilfred the Hairy and Dalí to Rosalía and Messi, journey through the history of the people who have been key in shaping Catalan identity and culture. From the region’s bloody beginnings to its modern sophisticated culture, it’s a whirlwind tour spanning six centuries of history. Along the way, you’ll get to meet some of the best artists and brilliant minds the world has ever known.
Each section of the museum has a different theme, and there are plenty of opportunities to put yourself in the scene with a selfie next to Gaudí or Cervantes.
At the end, venture behind the scenes to see how the magic happens. In the workshop, you’ll learn how figures from the tour have been brought to life. We’ll also enjoy a glass of champagne together, toasting our journey and the famous Catalans we met.
After your Barcelona Wax Museum guided tour, if you’ve selected our add-on, the adventure isn’t over. Next, your guide will take you to the towering Columbus Monument, created for the city’s first world fair. You’ll learn all about the monument from your expert guide. Then you’ll travel to the top aboard the first elevator ever built in Barcelona. From the peak, enjoy sweeping views of the city, all the way from Montjuïc in the south to as far as the eye can see.

The museum is accessible except for two sets. Guests in wheelchairs may purchase our child-priced tour ticket for a reduced rate.

How much walking is there?
This tour covers one mile at a leisurely pace. If mobility is an issue, please arrange for a private tour.
What is the rescheduling policy?
We understand plans change. We offer a 100% refund or the option to reschedule up to 24 hours prior to your tour start time. Within 24 hours of your tour, we would have incurred hard costs and therefore cannot allow rescheduling or cancellation without costs.
When should I get there?
Plan to show up 15 minutes early. The tour starts promptly, and you may not be able to catch up if you arrive late.
Are gratuities included?
Tips aren’t included but are always appreciated by our guides. If you think your guide did an outstanding job, a tip is a great way to show that.
