This gorgeous hiking tour of San Francisco’s hidden stairways is one you’ll want to bring your camera for. See vistas that most San Franciscans don’t even know exist while discovering beautiful neighborhoods that tourists rarely see.
We call it an urban hike because it’s exercise meets city art and culture. Learn about this area of San Francisco, including Golden Gate Park and the Sunset District. Be entertained by your guide and enjoy the gardens and greenery as you climb. It’s all worth it at the end when you get to enjoy a breathtaking panorama above the city. Your guide is happy to snap a photo with your phone or camera so you can remember the journey (and the payoff).
But don’t look too far and miss what’s right below your feet. The intricate, colorful tiled steps create a sea-to-stars mosaic that’s pretty photo-worthy in its own right. You’ll discover how they got here and so much more on our guided hike of the 16th Avenue outdoor stairways.
