COVID-19 Precautions by City

We follow all local health and safety regulations for our tour destinations. Here are some additional guidelines by city.

New York City

NYC has launched Key to NYC, which requires certain establishments to verify that staff and patrons are vaccinated against COVID-19. Visitors 12 and older must be prepared to show proof of at least one dose of vaccination to enter museums, restaurants, theaters, and other indoor recreational venues.

Eligible proof of vaccination includes:

  • NYC COVID Safe App
  • NYS Excelsior App
  • Photo or hard copy of a CDC vaccination card
  • Photo or hard copy of an official vaccination record of a vaccine administered outside the U.S. for AstraZeneca, SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD, Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, or Sinovac

For visiting most major attractions like the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and Versailles, visitors to Paris from EU countries should be prepared to show the European Health Pass as a QR code, either printed out on or your phone. Non-EU visitors should be must present one of the following along with your government-issued ID:

  • Proof of vaccination from your country of origin
  • A negative RT-PCR or antigen test within the previous 72 hours
  • A certificate stating you have recovered from COVID-19 with the last 6 months
  • Your international vaccination card

Of the above options, a €29 antigen test at a pharmacy is typically the easiest. For more about downloading the European Health Pass, check with a local pharmacy or online.

Here’s what that means for you as a traveler.

Guests pledge to:

  • Bring and wear masks or face coverings for the duration of the tour
  • Respect any local quarantine requirements if you are traveling from a hotspot
  • Stay home when not feeling well
