The Sagrada Família is a must for any visit to Barcelona, and this one-of-a-kind walking tour helps you discover it in a unique way.
You’ll begin your tour at the Nativity Façade — a fitting place to start as it’s the oldest side of the church. As your guide walks with you around the basilica, you’ll learn about Gaudí’s masterpiece in progress and how his vision is still coming to life today.
As you tour outside the Sagrada Família, you’ll learn what each side of the basilica is dedicated to and what the many symbols carved into it mean. Your guide will point out details you might otherwise miss, like the newest towers recently inaugurated. And you’ll hear unusual stories, such as the one about the Sagrada Família schools.
Gaudí’s unfinished architectural project is not without its challenges. Learn about the modern-day controversy of the Glory façade, which has divided much of Barcelona.
Finish your guided walking tour at the entrance of the church. Here, your guide will help you download an app for an audio guide to the basilica. You’ll also receive your Sagrada Família ticket and tips for what to look for inside, including a small museum with exhibits.
Feel free to spend as much time as you’d like here admiring the intricate stained glass, columns that bend like tree trunks, and the many other elaborate details covering the walls and ceiling.
