Begin with a drive to Venice Beach. Once a seaside resort town, this surfer’s paradise is crisscrossed with canals and the center of counterculture in LA. Stroll the Venice Boardwalk to enjoy its street performers and vendors as we learn about the birth of skateboarding culture.
See “Baywatch” headquarters and Muscle Beach. Then head north to Santa Monica. On the iconic Santa Monica Pier, you’ll be dazzled by the carnival sounds and the famous hippodrome. Don’t forget to snap a photo at the sign marking the end of Historic Route 66.
Back in LA, enjoy a leisurely lunch at The Grove near the Original Farmers Market. For the second half of our journey, we’ll cruise by legendary institutions like the Saban Theater and the landmarks of the Miracle Mile.
As we make our way into Hollywood, we’ll drive down Sunset Boulevard as your guide points out landmarks like Whisky A Go Go and the House of Blues and shares about the rock stars who’ve played here.
We’ll also see Jim Henson Studios, the Church of Scientology, Capitol Records, and the iconic Hollywood Sign. Count the stars on the Walk of Fame, and fit your hands and feet into the impressions of legendary actors in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Don’t forget to strike a pose as we walk up for our grand entrance at the Dolby Theater, where the Oscars are held.
Finally, admire Beverly Gardens Park among the palm tree-lined streets of Beverly Hills. It’s a beautiful way to close your incredible LA Highlights Tour!

Fantastic One Day of LA
This was a fantastic tour of LA packed in one day. Our tour guide, Josh was cordial and informative. He knew all the special spots for photos, and he was very knowledgeable not only of LA, but the traffic patterns.(he kept us out of heavy traffic and traffic jams) We saw so much this day, from the Santa Monica Pier,Venice Beach, La Brea tar pits, the Hollywood sign (got us close), and so much more. This was a great tour with the best guide!
Amazing Tour
This was an absolutely amazing day. Cameron was informative and obviously knew a lot about LA and made such an amazing tour. He was super funny, friendly, and very personable. Though the tour was quite long it didn’t feel that way because we were having so much fun. We saw very cool places and it didn’t feel too tourist-y. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who has a day in LA. A fantastic day.
Great way to cram L.A. in one day
Josh was a great and kind guide; who was also very open to modifying the tour. We took this tour to cram as much of LA as possible for the 1 day we were there and we weren’t disappointed. We got picked up and dropped off right at the place we were staying and really enjoyed the day.

Our pickup and dropoff areas include Hollywood, West Hollywood, Universal City, Beverly Hills, Westwood, Santa Monica, Venice and the LAX area. There’s an extra cost for Pasadena, Anaheim, Long Beach, San Pedro, Ports of LA or anything 10 miles outside of LAX, except the cities listed above.
What do we do for lunch?
We’ll stop at the Original Farmers Market and The Grove where you can buy food from a variety of vendors. If there’s another restaurant you prefer, tell us!
