This two-hour tour covers London’s most iconic landmarks in one of its most beloved neighborhoods: South Bank.

As you cross the Thames into Southwark, your guide will share the story of London Bridge, past and present. Farther along, we’ll stop to admire the towering spires and flying buttresses of Southwark Cathedral, one of London’s oldest Gothic churches. Surrounded by even taller glass-fronted skyscrapers, it provides a perfect contrast between modern London and old-world England. Learn about the cathedral’s fascinating history, including its connection to Shakespeare.

Stroll alongside the Thames to Minerva Square, featuring a must-see view of London Bridge. At the Golden Hinde galleon, hear how Sir Francis Drake and his 120-ton ship was the first to circumnavigate the globe in the 16th century.

Throughout the tour, you’ll have plenty of time to capture stunning riverside photos of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Tower Bridge. Snap a picture with the famous Shakespeare Mural or outside the quintessential Anchor Pub, one of the oldest pubs in town, where Shakespeare, Samuel Johnson, and other famous Brits once dined.

We’ll visit a few more iconic stops, like the Globe Theatre and the ancient Ferryman’s Seat, and the Millennium Bridge, a pedestrian path we’ll walk across. See outside the Tate Modern and hear about its treasures within, and discover what movies have been filmed here in South Bank London (shoutout to the 2003 romcom “Love Actually”).

Maybe the most unexpected stop, Leake Street Arches is London’s coolest street art destination. You could fill your camera roll here alone!

Your tour ends with an included ticket to the London Eye. Ride a comfortable, air-conditioned cabin over 440 feet above the city. The London Eye gives you panoramic views of the Shard, Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and many more London sights. It’s the perfect way to end your tour of London’s South Bank!
