Experience New York’s best neighborhood light show on this guided Dyker Heights Christmas Lights Tour. On the ride over, we’ll stop for 20 minutes each in DUMBO and Bay Ridge so you can get a taste of these unique Brooklyn neighborhoods decked for the holidays. In DUMBO, see creative light installations projected onto historic buildings and illuminated waterfront displays. In Bay Ridge, the homes are festive with classic holiday lights and decor. And don’t miss those breathtaking views of the Hudson River and New Jersey skyline along the way.
For your guided Dyker Heights tour, we’ll step off the bus for a one-hour guided stroll through the neighborhood. This lets you appreciate the over-the-top holiday displays up-close — think life-size Santas, animated figures, and synchronized lights. How much walking is there?
This is mainly a bus tour, but we’ll walk about a half mile.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
This tour isn’t recommended for guests in wheelchairs. Guests must be able to get on and off the bus, which has steps, and while Dyker Heights streets are accessible, some areas won’t allow as up-close viewing for guests in wheelchairs. You can bring a wheelchair or stroller as long as it’s folded and stored during transit.
Do I need a seat for my toddler?
There are no reserved seats for children 2 and under (and no charge for their ticket). If you’d like a seat for your toddler, please purchase one at the child rate. Children 3 and older require their own seat.
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand plans change. We offer a 100% refund or the option to reschedule up to 24 hours before your tour start time. Cancellations within 24 hours aren’t eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
When should I get there?
Plan to show up 15 minutes early. The bus leaves promptly for our festive NYC Christmas tour, so you won’t be able to join if you arrive late.
What if it rains?
Our tours run rain or shine. If there’s extreme weather and we have to cancel, you’ll get a full refund.
Are gratuities included?
Tips aren’t included but are always appreciated by our guides. If you think your guide did an outstanding job, a tip is a great way to show that.
Do you have gift certificates?
Yes! If you want to give the gift of New York (or any of our destinations) to someone else, you can purchase a tour gift card. Our gift cards are good for any of our tours, and they never expire.
