Reviews

This tour was so worth it! Nothing to worry about as far as lines, which boat to take, how to get into the attractions, when to arrive, when to leave, what to do, what not to do. All the stress was taken out of the excursion, especially for visitors who don't know NYC well.

Great tour and amazing guide & info!
Chris T. had amazing history of a Lady Liberty, Ellis Island, and many interesting facts on how statue came to America. Even though we are social distancing this was an awesome day, great tour, and no lines! If you are thinking of coming to the city, do it! These guides deserve a few more visitors!

Amazing Guide (Benoit), Amazing Tour!
The tour guide was Benoit, and he was the best! He was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great personality. He took the time to answer all of our questions. The Statue of Liberty visit was great. He gave a lot of information and then let us explore on our own. He has a great passion for Ellis Island and I left with a much better understanding of the challenges immigrants faced when coming to America through Ellis Island.

Steven Is the Best Tour Guide
Steven was funny, knowledgeable, and amazing!!!! He gave us fun facts, made jokes, and made sure that we saw all the best stuff!!! He went above and beyond, even laying on the cold, cold ground to take our pictures in front of the statute of liberty. One of the best guided tours I’ve ever been on!!!! Would love to see one of his shows on Broadway one day!!!

FAQs

How much walking is there?

We’ll be on our feet for most of the tour. At both Liberty and Ellis islands, your guide will lead you on a walking tour of the grounds to point out the different sights. The ferry also has multiple levels with stairs. If mobility is an issue, please arrange for a private tour.

What can we bring?

Persons and property are subject to search. Prohibited items include weapons, locking blades, tools, non-folding umbrellas, tripods, laptops, tablet keyboards, coolers, luggage, drones, sewing kits, lighter fluid, and anything propelled by aerosol.

Are the museums on Liberty and Ellis islands included?

The National Park Service does not allow any guiding inside the Statue of Liberty Museum or the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration. You will have time to explore these landmarks on your own during your visit after an introduction from your guide.

What is the rescheduling policy?

We understand plans change. You can always change your tour 24 hours or more before you tour. We offer a 100% refund up to 24 hours prior to your tour start time. Within 24 hours of your tour, we would have incurred hard costs and therefore cannot allow rescheduling or cancellation without costs.

What if it rains?

Our tours run rain or shine, so please check the local forecast to plan. In rare cases when we have to cancel for extreme weather, we’ll offer you the chance to reschedule or give a full refund.

What about gratuities?

Tips are always appreciated but never expected. They’re a great way to tell your guide they did an awesome job and show your appreciation.
