Exploring our incredible city is a challenge, but you’ll see it best traveling like true New Yorkers — by train, ferry, and on foot. This one-day tour of New York includes the top NYC highlights with a strategic itinerary that’s thorough but never rushed. Do New York in a day!

Begin in Times Square and learn how it became the Entertainment Capital of the World. As your expert guide leads the way, you’ll see Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, the New York Public Library, the glittering steel spire of the Chrysler Building, Rockefeller Center, and much more. You’ll even catch sight of the Statue of Liberty with a ride on the Staten Island Ferry. This is a great way to enjoy the NYC skyline, too.

Descend into the tile caverns of Grand Central Terminal and stop by Whispering Corners on your way to the subway. On Wall Street, you’ll get an insider’s view of the Financial District and pose for a photo with the Charging Bull. We’ll also pause to pay tribute at the beautiful and emotionally gripping 9/11 Memorial.

If you’ve chosen the upgrade, end your one-day New York tour at the One World Trade Center. You’ll see the “Voices” film in the Freedom Tower lobby before taking the SkyPod elevator up 1,250 feet as you watch a time-lapse of NYC through the decades. The One World Observatory begins on the 102nd floor with the See Forever Theater and moves down to the 100th floor for the main observation deck. Admire the stunning panorama of Manhattan as you celebrate the end of the best day in New York City.

Reviews

We saw so many iconic sights throughout the tour but it was Samuel that brought the history and meaning of each one to life... This is a must do tour if it is your first time to New York and even if you've been multiple times you will learn something new.

Perfect tour to see the highlights if you only have a day!
This was the perfect tour to get a sample of NYC if you only have a short time to do it. For only 6 hours, you see a ton of sights, and really get to experience the highlights of the city. Lyndsey was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, and kept all 15 people in the group!

NYC visit with son
Peter was a great guide. He was personable and knowledgeable. Our college age son didn’t want a long tour and this 90 minute wall street tour was perfect. We learned a lot. Recommend this tour!

Can’t say enough great things about our guide!
Jared- best guide ever. He was so nice and so knowledgeable. He gave us tips far beyond what a tour guide needs to do! He helped us with the Subway and made everyone in the group feel included. Loved the tour and was tired after! Went to a pizza place for dinner (recommended by Jared) that was awesome as well!!

Meeting point

We meet in front of the George M. Cohan Statue at 46th Street and Broadway. The statue is of a man holding a hat and a cane.

FAQs

Is this tour on a bus or car?

No way! To have an authentic, immersive experience of New York City, we travel like New Yorkers. We would never recommend our family or friends take a car or bus to see NYC. You don’t want to spend your trip caught in traffic. We’ll travel by foot, subway, and ferry, so we can see more and do more.

Will the whole tour be on foot?

The majority of the day will be on foot since this is a walking tour. However, at some points in the tour you will travel by subway and ferry. This tour includes a few miles of walking at a moderate pace and is not accessible for wheelchairs due to using the subway. If mobility is an issue, please arrange for a private tour.

Does the tour include the 9/11 Museum or the Statue of Liberty?

Due to time restraints, we won’t visit the 9/11 Museum or Liberty Island. The tour does visit the 911 Memorial and World Trade Center sites where your guide will share the history and stories of 9/11. We will also take the Staten Island Ferry to get a closer look at Lady Liberty and enjoy views of the skyline and Brooklyn Bridge.

What is the rescheduling policy?

We understand plans change. You can always change your tour 24 hours or more before you tour. We offer a 100% refund up to 24 hours prior to your tour start time. Within 24 hours of your tour, we would have incurred hard costs and therefore cannot allow rescheduling or cancellation without costs.

What if it rains?

Our tours run rain or shine, so please check the local forecast to plan. In rare cases when we have to cancel for extreme weather, we’ll offer you the chance to reschedule or give a full refund.

What about gratuities?

Tips are always appreciated but never expected. They’re a great way to tell your guide they did an awesome job and show your appreciation.
