Director of People Strategy

About the Job

The Director of People Strategy will develop and implement an HR strategy to promote an organizational culture of exceeding expectations, embracing change, positive/can-do attitude and creating smiles. This newly created role will be responsible for building and maintaining the HR function, including recruiting and talent management, culture, communication and organizational design, implementing HR processes, developing and implementing HR programs and being a strategic HR advisor.

This is an excellent role for someone who is a very effective communicator, comfortable using a variety of methods and tools to deliver messages and provide advice and coaching.

Successful team members are organized, able to multitask, and have a sense of urgency and always maintain a positive and constructive approach and demeanor.

We require:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • At least five years of substantial and increasingly responsible experience as a human resource generalist, manager or HR business partner role, including compensation, benefits, staffing, employee relations and compliance
  • Success as a team builder and leader
  • General knowledge of HR compliance requirements in all geographies where ExperienceFirst has employees
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping. Experience with common HR and/or payroll systems and other HR tools such as Applicant Tracking Systems and Learning Management Systems.

We prefer:

  • PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
