Uncover the beauty and history of Montparnasse Cemetery for Halloween as you learn about the souls laid to rest here — from brilliant artists to famous lovers. Your English-speaking Parisian guide, Marine, will share ghostly tales, and afterward, we'll head to a nearby café with a free tarot card reading offered for all participants.
We’ll cover about 1.5 miles at a leisurely pace.
Our final stop is Osmoz Café, 33 Rue de l'Ouest, 75014 Paris, France.
No. You’re welcome to carry along a snack or drink if you’d like.
Our Halloween event tickets are nonrefundable. However, if available, we offer free rescheduling to another date the tour is running.
Tips are always appreciated by our guides but never expected. They should be given if you believe your guide did an outstanding job and if you personally want to demonstrate your appreciation to the guide.
In a small, socially distanced group, we’ll explore this 200-year-old burial site, including its elaborate sculptures and architecture and the rich history buried here.
We’ll visit the shared tomb of Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir as we remember their famous romance. We’ll pay our respects at the grave of French dramatist Eugene Ionesco and the glamorous, tragic film star Jean Seberg.
At each stop, your guide shares stories and secrets — like why the angel’s torch above Charles Pigeon’s bed is a gas lamp. You’ll also learn about the spirits said to walk this hallowed ground still today.
After your tour, follow your guide to the nearby Osmoz Café where a free tarot card reading will be offered for all participants. Stay as long as you like here and get to know your fellow tour-goers. Food and drink are available for purchase at the café.
