Let\u2019s start our walk through all of them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Joan Mir\u00f3 Foundation in Montju\u00efc hill<\/h2>\n\n\n

Montju\u00efc has so many views that I would need an entire post just to talk about them, but today we just have room for one: the Joan Mir\u00f3 Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This museum \u2014 named after the Catalan artist \u2014 is located in the hill of Montju\u00efc and, beside its interesting exhibitions, it also offers a beautiful view that you can enjoy while admiring the surrealist statues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Barcelona Cathedral<\/h2>\n\n\n

In the heart of the Gothic Quarter<\/a>, we come upon the Cathedral of Barcelona<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is possible to visit this stunning neo-Gothic church, not only inside but also from its highest point, that is, its main and higher tower. From there you can admire the beauty of Barcelona, especially its mountain side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Creueta del Coll Park<\/h2>\n\n\n

This little-known park is the perfect place for a walk in nature if you want to escape the city’s hustle. It\u2019s a little complicated to reach but once there, you\u2019re not going to regret it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guide tip: <\/strong>There is even a public swimming pool that you can enjoy during hot summer days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Safestay Hostel<\/h2>\n\n\n

In the popular Passeig de Gr\u00e0cia<\/a>, there is a hostel that \u2014 once you reach the top floor \u2014 can offer you the best view of the most famous Barcelonian avenue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this spot, you can admire both the sea and mountains from the same terrace, and it’s completely free of charge! However, if you want to enjoy this view while sipping a coffee or a beer, you can buy it at the second floor bar in the hostel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. The Cathedral of the Sea<\/h2>\n\n\n

The Cathedral of the Sea \u2014 also called Santa Maria del Mar \u2014 gained its fame thanks to the book and the Netflix show that bear its name, but this church has been the star of the Ribera neighborhood since the 14th century when it was built.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you decide to visit this stunning cathedral, you can also buy a ticket to go up on the towers where you can enjoy the view of Barceloneta neighborhood and the old harbor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Tibidabo Hill<\/h2>\n\n\n

Tibidabo Hill is the tallest peak of Collserola Mountain and the highest point of Barcelona, so you know the views here will be good!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s possible to reach it through a cable car that drops you off close to the Sagrat Cor church \u2014 another modernist work of art \u2014 and the Tibidabo Amusement Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After many months of closure \u2014 due to COVID \u2014 it is open again. Don\u2019t miss the opportunity to take a ride on the rollercoaster while enjoying the most complete view of Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Barcel\u00f3 Raval Hotel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the not-at-all touristy neighborhood of Raval<\/a>, on its Rambla, you\u2019ll come upon a very modern building: the Barcel\u00f3 Raval. This huge hotel, completely different from the style of the neighborhood, offers you a 360-degree view of Barcelona from the terrace of the top floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But don\u2019t worry \u2014 you don\u2019t have to stay in the hotel to make the most of it. You just need to go up on the highest floor of the building and enjoy the view while having a drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Park G\u00fcell <\/h2>\n\n\n

This place needs no introduction. We\u2019re talking about the famous park that Gaud\u00ed designed for the entrepreneur Eusebi G\u00fcell at the beginning of the 20th century. It was the first modernist green space in an area that was recently added to Barcelona\u2019s urban plan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the G\u00fcell Park is one of the most touristy spots of Barcelona and the perfect place if you want to combine a cultural visit with a walk in the green, while enjoying the view of Barcelona from above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Bellesguard Tower<\/h2>\n\n\n

Definitely the least known of Gaud\u00ed\u2019s work, the Bellesguard Tower was designed in the foothills of Mount Collserola for the Figueras family in 1900, and it was inhabited by another family, the Guileras, as recently as 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But before the Figueras house was built \u2014 back in the 15th century \u2014 in the same spot there was a medieval castle that had been named Bellesguard by King Martin I. The reason? Translated from Catalan, Bellesguard means beautiful view and the king saw beauty in the view that everyone can enjoy from this spot even today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Bunkers of Carmel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here we come to the most Instagrammable view and the place that every Barcelonian knows and has visited at least once in their life, usually for a romantic date: the Bunkers of Carmel.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This panoramic spot \u2014 located very close to Parc G\u00fcell \u2014 offers you a breathtaking view at any time of the day, from sunrise until nightfall when you can enjoy Barcelona city lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. Bes\u00f2s Tower<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Close to Bes\u00f3s river, in the southeast of Barcelona, there is a tower, pretty much unknown by most Barcelonians, that is possible to visit every Saturday<\/a> with or without a glass of champagne included in the entrance. <\/p>\n\n\n

If you decide to take a visit, you\u2019ll have to climb 311 steps to reach the panoramic spot. Not an easy walk, but you\u2019re not going to regret it since you\u2019ll have the opportunity to see a totally different perspective of Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. Doctor Pla i Armengol Gardens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At this point, you might know that Barcelona has many green spots that you can enjoy if you have the energy to climb its hills. But it’s not always like that! The Doctor Pla i Armengol Gardens are definitely one of the easiest places to reach if your legs are tired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It might not be the highest view of the city, but it\u2019s worth a visit especially if you just got out of Sagrada Familia<\/a>, you need to breathe green air and you still have time until your visit to Park G\u00fcell. In fact, these gardens are located in a very strategic position between those two iconic places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bonus: More panoramic views you can\u2019t miss<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re not tired of walking and you would like to enjoy Barcelona from every single corner, here is a small list of other panoramic spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Horta viewpoint<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After a long climb from Mundet metro station, you\u2019ll reach the Mirador d\u2019Horta, where you can enjoy the view from a swing hanging on a tree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poble Espanyol<\/h3>\n\n\n
