At any point in “the City of Love” you will find yourself surrounded by glamorous and beautiful couples frequenting local bars, restaurants, and even the metro.

If you are a couple who wants to experience all the romance Paris naturally has to offer, here is a brief list of 5 romantic spots:

  1. Pont Alexandre III

This is a beautiful bridge with giant, golden statues at either end along with views of the Eiffel tower, as you cross.  From the bridge, you have on either side of you the grand palais and the petit palais, where museum exhibits and famous Paris Fashion week are held, and bars along the seine with open spots to locals and tourists alike.

  1. Pont Saint-Louis

Along the Seine, for one, right next to the best ice cream in the world, for two, and live outdoor musicians playing classic French tunes, for a home-run. You will have a view of the back of the Notre Dame, which will shield you from large groups of tourists for a private setting. The stylish section of town, Le Marais, can also be spotted from this bridge, notably the Hôtel de Ville.

  1. Galeries Lafayette – The Roof!

You may not have known this, but the view of Paris from the famous department store is absolutely breath-taking. In the winter, this is also the perfect place to go ice-skating with a view of the Eiffel Tower, as it lights up for midnight.

  1. Les Tuileries

Le Jardin des Tuileries outside of the Louvre is filled with large fountains, floral gardens, patterns of trees, and hidden historic statues. This is the perfect place to go relax with your partner after a long visit to the Louvre.

  1. Sacre Cœur

The historic cathedral is gorgeous, with an option to climb to the top and take in the view. That’s not all! Next to the cathedral, there is a square where the local artists offer portraits and are surrounded by popular bars and restaurants for delicious crêpes and more.
